The lovely Snore

"He drifted off into sleep and Janie looked down on him and felt a self-crushing love. So her soul crawled out of her hiding place."

-Zora Neale Hurston, Their Eyes Were Watching God

Isn't that a beautiful way to articulate love? Jesus, Zora and my favorite authoress Toni Morrison know their stuff. Nodoby tells you about love like those women. God Bless the south!

However, I am not sure I have had that ephemeral expirience of Janie and Tea Cake. I will watch the sleeping form of my boyfriend and seep into myself with sublime adoration. That is until a huge rippling snore shatters my seepage. And then its more like I will MAKE your SOUL crawl BACK to its hiding place if I hear one more SELF CRUSHING snore out of your sinus cavity.

Shit just got real.
